Foster to adopt: This program is designed to allow a person who is not sure that they are ready to be a full time canine parent the opportunity to "try it out". In this program the foster parent would agree to foster the dog they are interested in adopting and even if they decide not to adopt they are committed to fostering that dog until said dog is placed in a forever home by Kindred Canines. If you are interested in finding out more about our foster to adopt program please email kindredcanines@kindredcanines.org.

Public Education: This program was is geared towards kids. It shows examples with physically challenged dogs so that children learn to ask questions and get comfortable with disabilities. It also provides great examples of what can happen when dogs are not properly cared for and how we can rehabilitate them when we care.

Seniors for Seniors: This program is for seniors who would like to adopt. The program works like this, any person over the age of 60 who wishes to adopt a dog from us may adopt a dog who is also a senior (over the age of 7) at a discounted rate of $100.

Rescue Dog Orientation: The RDO class is designed to give a person otherwise unfamiliar with the psyche of a rescue dog a glimpse into what to expect if you adopt, some simple tips on dealing with common behavioral issues as well as a question and answer period.
